Senior Manager, Analytical Services

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-functioning team of Scientists, Research Associates, and Analysts.
• Manage department goals, annual budgets, operational expenditures, and forecasting activities.
• Oversee GxP and non-GxP testing support, ensuring the laboratory remains in an inspection-ready state.
• Provide technical expertise for analytical methods, data trends, and the design of special studies for product development.
• Review and approve critical documentation including SOPs, protocols, reports, and QMS records.
• Collaborate with functional heads to manage recruiting, hiring, and resource allocation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and regulatory compliance (cGMP, ICH).

Requirements

• B.S. with 10+ years of experience, MSc with 8+ years of experience, or PhD with 3-5 years of experience.
• Proven expertise in biochemical techniques, specifically enzymatic activity and enzyme kinetics.
• Deep expertise in separation methods.
• Strong team leadership and people development skills.
• Experience in process analytics or managing teams through organizational change.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Process Development or Manufacturing Science.
• Experience supporting CMC teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
