Senior Manager, AI Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of AI, machine learning, and software engineers.
• Drive the architecture and development of scalable AI products using LLMs, RAG, and AI agents.
• Define AI engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and governance for secure application development.
• Partner with Product Management and Data Science teams to define AI product roadmaps and technical strategy.
• Build and scale enterprise AI platforms supporting model serving, prompt management, and MLOps.
• Implement engineering best practices including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI/ML development.
• 4+ years of experience in engineering leadership or management roles.
• Deep expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of vector databases, orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex), and microservices.
• Proven track record of delivering production-grade AI solutions in a product-driven organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering enterprise-scale Generative AI products in production.
• Familiarity with foundation models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or Meta.
• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or Milvus.
• Exposure to AI evaluation frameworks, LLMOps, and responsible AI practices.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
