About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the aftermarket material planning team, providing mentorship and guidance to promote a high-performing culture.
- Develop and implement robust strategies for material management and purchasing to meet aftermarket objectives.
- Define appropriate inventory levels to balance supply and demand, optimizing turnover while reducing excess stock.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate material availability.
- Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes and systems to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Utilize ERP systems to their full potential for effective material planning and inventory control.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 7+ years of experience in material planning or supply chain management, specifically within aftermarket services.
- 2+ years of experience leading and managing a team.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the USA.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
- APICS certification or similar professional supply chain certification.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JDE.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities.
- Experience with international sourcing and procurement.
- Proven track record of managing high-performing teams and interpreting complex data for decision-making.
