Senior Manager – Aftermarket Material Planning

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the aftermarket material planning team, providing mentorship and guidance to promote a high-performing culture.
• Develop and implement robust strategies for material management and purchasing to meet aftermarket objectives.
• Define appropriate inventory levels to balance supply and demand, optimizing turnover while reducing excess stock.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate material availability.
• Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes and systems to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Utilize ERP systems to their full potential for effective material planning and inventory control.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 7+ years of experience in material planning or supply chain management, specifically within aftermarket services.
• 2+ years of experience leading and managing a team.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the USA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
• APICS certification or similar professional supply chain certification.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JDE.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities.
• Experience with international sourcing and procurement.
• Proven track record of managing high-performing teams and interpreting complex data for decision-making.
