About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to a global engineering team across the US and LATAM
  • Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, and cost
  • Deploy automation and robotics projects to execute the company’s automation master plan
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance manufacturing efficiency
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Supply Chain Finance, and Brand Marketing to execute technical transfers
  • Manage the engineering department budget and perform financial analysis to support capital investment decisions
  • Oversee laboratory operations in Hattiesburg and ensure all activities comply with safety regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, supply chain, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in project management
  • 5+ years in a direct or indirect management or leadership role
  • Proven experience leading automation and industrial engineering projects
  • Experience managing high-complexity projects with significant capital expenditure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Microsoft Project
  • Ability to travel up to 30% internationally (US, Mexico, LATAM, Asia)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma process improvement methodologies
  • Demonstrated familiarity with structured project management methodologies, including design review, procurement, and tech transfer
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to articulate business cases to executive leadership
