Senior Manager, Accounting

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for payroll, customer billing, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and inventory accounting
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, FAR, CAS, and IRS requirements
• Maintain and strengthen internal accounting controls and governance practices
• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of accounting professionals
• Collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to support business objectives
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 7 years of experience in a related field
• 3 years of experience directly supervising others
• Progressive accounting leadership experience in government contracting, aerospace, defense, or manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, FAR Part 31, and CAS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA designation
