Senior Manager, Accounting Policy & Reporting

Responsibilities

• Lead technical research on new and complex U.S. GAAP (FASB) accounting standards
• Draft and finalize technical accounting memos to support complex transaction analysis
• Serve as the primary technical resource for non-routine transactions like M&A or debt/equity offerings
• Manage the preparation and filing of SEC reports including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and proxy statements
• Ensure effective design and operation of internal controls over financial reporting (SOX 404)
• Support internal and external audits on technical accounting matters
• Lead accounting policy and reporting projects and mentor a high-performing team

Requirements

• 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience
• Big 4 Audit experience
• Direct SEC reporting and technical accounting research experience at a publicly traded company
• Active CPA, CA, or equivalent
• Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting rules (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, Reg S-X/S-K)
• Experience in loan accounting, securitization, transfers & servicing, consolidation, or revenue recognition
• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Experience with financial reporting systems such as Workiva
