Senior Manager, Accounting - Global Media

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operational accounting for the Global Media portfolio, including Content, Films, and Ad Sales businesses.
• Support Accounting Leads with monthly close activities, account reconciliations, and compliance processes.
• Oversee specific accounting areas such as intercompany transactions and fixed assets to ensure policy compliance.
• Lead process improvement initiatives in collaboration with Global Process Owners to streamline workflows and strengthen controls.
• Manage and provide direction to a team of Managers, Senior Coordinators, and Coordinators.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, corporate accounting policies, and GAAP/IFRS standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support audit readiness and resolve findings.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a management or leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or active CPA candidacy.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP or similar enterprise systems.
