Senior Manager, Accounting - Global Media

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operational accounting for Global Media business units, including International Media, Live Games, Broadcasting, Consumer Products, and Sponsorships.
• Support Accounting Leads with monthly close activities, account reconciliations, and compliance-related processes.
• Oversee specific accounting areas such as intercompany transactions and fixed assets to ensure adherence to policy.
• Identify and implement process enhancements and efficiency gains in collaboration with Global Process Owners (GPOs).
• Manage direct reports and provide oversight for the timely completion of journal entries and reporting.
• Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, corporate accounting policies, and GAAP/IFRS standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support audit readiness and resolution of findings.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a management or leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and internal controls.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work onsite in the New York office 40 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or active candidacy.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP or similar enterprise systems.
