Senior Manager, Access & Value

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a Strategic Access Plan for all BioMarin products in Mexico
• Design and prepare tender submissions for public formularies and institutional buying groups
• Lead the preparation, analysis, and internal approval of dossiers for Mexican Government authorities
• Identify and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including payers, government officials, and physicians
• Maintain strategic relationships with major institutions such as IMSS, ISSSTE, PEMEX, and state-level representatives
• Support the commercial area and partners in negotiations with institutions and states
• Manage processes to ensure patients can successfully start and remain on therapy through proper documentation and approvals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or MBA (Economics, Administration, Health Sciences, or related field)
• 3-5 years of experience in Market Access specifically for LSDs or high-cost products
• Proven experience in Public Relations, Public Affairs, and managing Government relationships
• In-house experience within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology organization
• Proficiency in English for effective communication with internal US-based colleagues
• Strong knowledge of dossier preparation and state formulary processes
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with specific Mexican healthcare institutions (IMSS, ISSSTE, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with medical, access, and commercial teams
