Senior Management Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and manage monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Deliver insightful variance analysis and commentary against budget, forecast, and prior year
• Support the month-end close process, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts
• Provide financial insight for commercial decisions to support the FP&A team
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting tools, and systems
• Support ERP and BI system enhancements and ensure data integrity
• Ensure strong internal controls and follow appropriate accounting standards
• Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors
• Lead and mentor direct reports by setting clear objectives and discussing performance

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with 3+ years PQE
• Minimum 3 years of experience in management accounting, ideally in retail, fashion, or FMCG
• Solid understanding of FRS 102 and multi-currency consolidations
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Strong understanding of multi-channel business models and inventory accounting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to implement new controls and processes in a fast-paced environment
