Senior Maintenance Technician – Utilities, Lead

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of utility and process equipment, including clean steam, WFI, HVAC, and plant systems like boilers and chillers
• Manage work orders for craft, including scheduling and ensuring timely completion
• Complete quality and safety documentation in compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and company regulations
• Partner with maintenance service providers and equipment vendors
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and workflow optimization
• Provide facility and manufacturing support through a rotating on-call schedule

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of utility operations or maintenance experience, OR an Associate’s Degree with 6 months of experience
• Knowledge of utility operations and mechanical maintenance
• Experience working in a cGMP or highly regulated environment
• Proficiency using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Ability to interpret P&IDs

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with plant utility equipment such as chillers, boilers, and air compressors
• 5+ years of experience with pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to work with minimal direction and communicate effectively with peers and management
