About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of plant utility systems including steam, chilled water, compressed air, and HVAC
  • Maintain manufacturing and lab utility systems such as clean steam, WFI, process cooling water, and environmental control units
  • Execute maintenance activities including inspections, equipment overhauls, pump and valve rebuilds, and piping modifications
  • Complete quality and safety documentation in compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and company regulations
  • Utilize CMMS to accurately document work orders and review maintenance reports and records
  • Partner with maintenance service providers and equipment vendors to support plant operations
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide facility and manufacturing support as needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of utility operations or maintenance experience OR an Associate’s Degree and 6 months of experience
  • Knowledge of utility equipment such as chillers, boilers, and cooling towers
  • Experience with pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in utility operations and mechanical maintenance
  • 3+ years of experience with pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Experience working within a cGMP or highly regulated manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in executing and documenting work orders within a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with minimal direction
