Senior Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and repair on electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic mechanical systems
• Analyze and interpret technical procedures, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders
• Conduct inspections during preventative maintenance and report findings to management
• Execute electrical corrections using knowledge of drives and PLCs
• Ensure machine productivity and quality following repairs, changeovers, or downtime
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate updates in the maintenance tracking system
• Respond quickly to safety concerns to rectify immediate dangers and protect employees

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Mechanical apprenticeship and/or vocational school/technology certificate in mechanics
• 5 years of hands-on mechanical technical experience in an industrial maintenance environment
• Proficiency in reading and using schematics, gauges, tools, and instruments
• Experience with MIG and/or arc welding
• Strong working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, valves, and cylinders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and scissor lifts
