Senior Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and repair on electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair complex equipment
• Read and interpret technical procedures, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders
• Inspect assigned equipment during preventative maintenance and report findings
• Correct electrical issues using knowledge of drives and PLCs
• Ensure machine productivity and quality after repairs, changeovers, and downtime
• Complete work orders and update maintenance tracking systems
• Respond quickly to safety concerns and rectify immediate dangers

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Mechanical apprenticeship or vocational/technology certificate in mechanics
• Five years of mechanical technical hands-on experience
• Proficiency reading schematics, gauges, tools, and instruments
• Experience in an Industrial Maintenance environment with machine repair and troubleshooting
• Experience with MIG and/or arc welding
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, cylinders, and conveyors

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift driving experience
• Scissor lift driving experience
