Senior Maintenance Technician, RME

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate best practice in equipment safety and monitor teams to ensure adherence to correct processes
• Monitor equipment performance through visual checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventative maintenance
• Supervise technicians on shift to support their professional development and act as a primary contact for RME engineers
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize operational downtime
• Identify and implement system improvements to standardize processes across the EU network

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics (or completed a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship)
• Experience with automated conveyor systems, controls, and material handling equipment
• Proficiency with PLC programs and industrial electronics
• Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for proactive and reactive tasks
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Mechatronics or a related technical field
• Experience in vendor management and robotic maintenance
• Experience leading engineering teams as a mentor or technical lead
• Knowledge of MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM requirements
