Senior Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure operational success
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the manufacturing plant
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to identify and eliminate safety hazards
• Assist in equipment installation, line re-design, and Kaizen-driven improvement projects
• Maintain a neat and orderly working area and manage parts and supplies inventory
• Monitor quality of work output and adhere to established cost standards for materials and tools

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of experience in machine repair and mechanical troubleshooting
• Proven experience with preventative maintenance programs
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to stand and walk for approximately 90% of the work shift
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or various shifts as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Related Technical Degree or trade school certification in Mechanical/Electronics
• Licensing in Electrical or Welding
• Journeyman Electrician status
• Experience with LEAN applications, including 5S and SMED principles
• Experience working within a TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) program
