Senior Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure operational success
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the manufacturing plant
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to identify and eliminate safety hazards
• Execute key projects including equipment installation, line re-design, and kaizen improvements
• Maintain a neat and orderly working area and assist in managing parts and supplies inventory
• Monitor quality of work output and maintenance procedures to meet established standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in machine repair and mechanical troubleshooting
• Proven experience with preventative maintenance programs
• Strong ability to analyze problems and make independent judgments for corrective action
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for approximately 90% of the shift
• Willingness to work 3rd shift and available for overtime or weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Related Technical Degree or trade school certification in Mechanical/Electronics
• Licensing in Electrical, Welding, or a related field
• Journeyman Electrician status
• Experience with LEAN applications (5S, SMED) or TPM programs
