Senior Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment including assembly, conveyors, forming, and mixing machines
• Diagnose and repair electrical functions and high-speed production equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance according to work orders and manufacturer specifications
• Use machine shop tools to repair parts or fabricate modifications
• Maintain documentation for work orders and PMs
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other industrial equipment
• Adhere to OSHA safety rules, GMP, and food safety standards

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic
• 2+ years of experience in the food manufacturing industry
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and manufacturing specifications
• Proficiency with welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Acetylene)
• Knowledge of pneumatic and water systems
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating night shift (6pm - 6:30am) on a 2-2-3 schedule
• Possession of professional electrical tools including voltmeter and amp meter
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• PLC experience
• Electrical knowledge and packing machinery experience
• Knowledge of food-grade aluminum and stainless-steel welding
