Senior Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks including mechanical, electrical, electronic, plumbing, HVAC, and welding
• Diagnose equipment problems, replace or repair parts, and perform necessary adjustments
• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs to minimize production downtime
• Use hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring devices like multi-meters and micrometers
• Plan and execute new or modified installations following blueprints and local codes
• Align, adjust, and calibrate equipment and testing instruments according to specifications
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs, calibrations, and tests performed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or a related field
• Experience with WCM, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Experience in manufacturing environments involving welding, fabrication, or painting
• Demonstrated project management experience
