About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and prioritize a team of maintenance mechanics in performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair building HVAC control systems, including DDC and pneumatic equipment.
- Oversee preventive maintenance for process water systems, including chiller condenser and cooling tower cleaning.
- Manage building automation system checks and maintain electronic work orders using the TMA system.
- Provide technical guidance to customers, contractors, and project managers.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out and OSHA requirements.
- Participate in a scheduled rotation for weekend and holiday emergency service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- 5 years of experience in building equipment maintenance.
- Technical training in HVAC, commercial refrigeration, or building automation.
- Ability to work at heights using ladders and aerial work platforms.
- Ability to pass a standard half-face mask respirator fit-test.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Degree or certification in building environmental systems.
- Advanced technical training in plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems.
