Senior Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Lead and prioritize a team of maintenance mechanics in performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair building HVAC control systems, including DDC and pneumatic equipment.
• Oversee preventive maintenance for process water systems, including chiller condenser and cooling tower cleaning.
• Manage building automation system checks and maintain electronic work orders using the TMA system.
• Provide technical guidance to customers, contractors, and project managers.
• Adhere to all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out and OSHA requirements.
• Participate in a scheduled rotation for weekend and holiday emergency service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• 5 years of experience in building equipment maintenance.
• Technical training in HVAC, commercial refrigeration, or building automation.
• Ability to work at heights using ladders and aerial work platforms.
• Ability to pass a standard half-face mask respirator fit-test.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate Degree or certification in building environmental systems.
• Advanced technical training in plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems.
