Senior Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and inspire a team of Maintenance Supervisors, Automation Engineers, and Technicians
• Take ownership of technical availability and reliability of production equipment
• Monitor and analyze KPIs including equipment availability, maintenance costs, and technical efficiency
• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Procurement to improve performance
• Lead implementation and commissioning of new production equipment and automation solutions
• Manage external service providers and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, food safety, and quality standards
• Analyze technical failures and implement root-cause solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar
• Several years of experience in maintenance or technical management in manufacturing (FMCG/Food/Beverage preferred)
• Proven leadership experience with a focus on coaching and motivating teams
• Expertise in maintenance management and automated production systems
• Experience with KPI management, project management, and Operational Excellence
• Strong analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Google Workspace or Dematic automation is an advantage
• Fluency in German and good English skills
