Senior Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and inspire a team of Maintenance Supervisors, automation engineers, and technicians
• Ensure technical availability of production plants and continuously develop maintenance strategies
• Manage and analyze KPIs such as plant availability, maintenance costs, and technical efficiency
• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance measures
• Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Procurement to improve processes
• Oversee implementation and commissioning of new plants and automation solutions
• Manage external service providers and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, quality, and legal standards
• Analyze technical faults and initiate sustainable problem-solving and investment projects

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or similar
• Several years of experience in maintenance or technical management in a manufacturing environment (FMCG/Food/Beverage preferred)
• Several years of leadership experience
• Deep knowledge of maintenance management and automated production plants
• Experience in KPI management, project management, and Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset with a hands-on mentality
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Google Workspace and Dematic automation systems is an advantage
• Very good German and good English skills
