Senior MacOS Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop client applications throughout all phases of the product lifecycle
• Own, improve, maintain, and enhance macOS desktop application code
• Influence product features and implementation strategies
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA in multicultural, distributed teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of software engineering experience in modern Swift programming
• Experience in Apple ecosystem development (macOS specifics like XPC, Finder extensions, or FileProvider preferred)
• Practical experience with AppKit or UIKit, SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency, and Combine
• Strong understanding of multithreading, system privileges, and filesystem concepts
• Proven experience with Agile methodologies, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and TDD
• Fluent communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with networking protocols (HTTP, TLS, W3C) and network diagnostics
• Expertise in Python and shell scripting for automation
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana or ELK Stack
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and REST API integration
