Senior Machinist, Valves

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and inspect detailed parts and tools from blueprints, sketches, drawings, and verbal instructions
• Operate various machining tools including mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, and jig bores
• Perform assignment planning, layout, setup, and tool adjustments for manual and CNC equipment
• Conduct mathematical and geometrical calculations as needed for precision manufacturing
• Prove out CNC programs and perform minor equipment repairs
• Inspect machining operations against specified tolerances using manual gauges
• Maintain a clean work area and adhere to all safety protocols to minimize risk

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist using vertical/horizontal machining centers or CNC Lathes
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings
• Proficiency in using manual gauges to inspect parts
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs, as well as stand and sit for extended periods
• Availability to work overtime, off-shift hours, and weekends as required
