About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the industrialization of high-precision power transmission gears using continuous 5-axis machining.
- Provide technical support during the scoping and feasibility phases of projects.
- Design manufacturing sequences and operational processes for complex gear machining.
- Perform full CAM programming for tool paths.
- Conduct simulation and verification of G-code to ensure machine environment safety.
- Support workshop setup and validation of initial parts (first-article inspection).
Requirements
- Advanced mastery of CATIA V6 is mandatory.
- Significant experience using NCSIMUL for 5-axis machining security.
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of gear geometry and tooth cutting.
- Proven experience with 5-axis machining processes.
- Familiarity with Mazak (Mazatrol) and DMG Mori (Siemens) machine tools.
- Background as a Senior Machining Methods Engineer or Senior Technician.
