Senior Machinery Expert

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert for specific machinery or packaged items
• Develop technical requirements, specifications, and selection criteria for rotating machinery, packaged units, material handling, and solids processing systems
• Ensure all designs and selections comply with relevant industry codes and standards
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers and junior engineers
• Perform man-hour estimates for proposals and develop Master Project Plans (MPP)
• Manage progress reporting, implement catch-up plans, and represent the company in negotiations with clients and contractors

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 12-16 years of progressive experience, including experience acting as a lead for medium to large-scale projects
• Proven expertise in Offshore, Onshore, and Petrochemical/Refinery environments
• Extensive experience with FPSO, Offshore, and Brownfield projects
• Working knowledge of API standards, specifically API-610, API-616, API-617, and API-618
• Strong understanding of centrifugal pumps, reciprocating gas compressors, auxiliary systems, and steam/gas turbines
• Proficiency in interpreting PFDs and PIDs
