Senior Machine Learning Scientist (Personalisation)

Responsibilities

• Build and improve algorithms for pricing and customer targeting within an agile team
• Implement and deploy machine learning solutions at scale for millions of products and customers
• Deploy and maintain both batch and real-time machine learning models in production
• Evolve codebase, tooling, and platforms while contributing to new feature design
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance
• Contribute to technical direction and machine learning standards across the organization

Requirements

• Professional experience applying machine learning in production environments
• Focus on deep learning techniques
• Experience with recommendation or ranking systems
• Familiarity with modern deep learning frameworks and distributed computing
• Experience training models across GPUs using data or model parallelism
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles including CI/CD, containerisation, and observability
• Exposure to MLOps practices and tooling
