Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Recommendations)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve machine learning systems for search, ranking, and recommendation experiences
• Collaborate with Applied Scientists and engineers to deploy ML solutions
• Build, deploy, and maintain batch and real-time machine learning models in production
• Continuously improve systems, codebase, and engineering practices
• Support and mentor other engineers through coaching and technical collaboration
• Contribute to technical direction and evolve ML standards and best practices

Requirements

• Experience applying machine learning and deep learning in production environments
• Experience with deep learning frameworks and distributed computing technologies
• Experience with distributed training infrastructure and GPU-based environments
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and MLOps practices
• Experience developing reliable, scalable machine learning systems
• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentoring
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
