Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement robust ML systems in production environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Build and deploy supervised, unsupervised, deep learning, and generative AI models into live production environments at scale.
• Own technical design for ML pipelines, feature stores, training infrastructure, and inference systems.
• Design and deliver RAG systems, fine-tuning pipelines, and evaluation pipelines for production-grade LLM applications.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD for ML, including model versioning, monitoring, drift detection, and automated retraining.
• Optimize model performance, inference latency, and cost efficiency across live systems.
• Collaborate with product managers and data teams to translate business problems into scalable AI solutions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level ML engineers and establish technical best practices.

Requirements

• 7 to 15+ years of experience in software engineering, data science, or ML engineering.
• Proven track record of building production-grade AI systems rather than just research or notebooks.
• Advanced Python engineering skills with a focus on production quality and systems thinking.
• Experience working within product companies, scale-ups, or enterprise AI platforms.
• Ability to own systems end-to-end, from data ingestion through deployment and monitoring.
• Strong ability to work directly with stakeholders and product owners in fast-paced environments.
• Experience in fintech or financial services is a significant advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and RAG architectures.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, or Airflow.
• Expertise in cloud platforms including AWS (SageMaker, EKS), Azure ML, or GCP.
• Familiarity with large-scale data stacks such as Databricks, Spark, or Lakehouse architectures.
