Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop computer vision models and pipelines for face detection, quality assessment, and recognition
• Collaborate on benchmarking models across datasets and operating conditions
• Train and optimize models using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
• Contribute to end-to-end ML pipelines and design automated data ingestion pipelines using Airflow
• Optimize models for low-latency inference using quantization, distillation, TensorRT, or ONNX
• Support deployment on AWS and mentor other ML engineers

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in Machine Learning with a focus on Computer Vision
• Strong Computer Vision fundamentals (classification, detection, segmentation, etc.)
• Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pillow, OpenCV, and PyTorch
• Experience designing ML pipelines and using orchestration tools like Airflow
• Experience with GPU-based training and deploying ML services on AWS
• Awareness of algorithmic bias and fairness in AI

Preferred Qualifications

• Research publications in top venues like CVPR, ICCV, or ECCV
• Familiarity with vector databases and ANN search
• Experience with GANs or diffusion models for synthetic data generation
• Mobile or edge deployment experience using CoreML, LiteRT, or TFLite
• Knowledge of privacy and security considerations in sensitive ML applications
