Responsibilities

• Architect and build a unified ML platform for model development, deployment, and monitoring
• Design and implement scalable ML pipelines covering training, deployment, and retraining
• Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure for machine learning workloads
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for ML models and infrastructure
• Design monitoring and alerting systems for ML infrastructure using tools like Datadog
• Lead design discussions and establish team norms for building and testing ML systems
• Mentor junior engineers and share domain knowledge
• Ensure ML pipelines handle sensitive data in accordance with security and compliance policies

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, MLOps, or data engineering
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Strong cloud platform proficiency, preferably AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, S3, EC2, IAM, ECS)
• Solid CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or equivalent
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Knowledge of event streaming platforms like Apache Kafka
• Experience with monitoring and observability tooling such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data pipeline tooling like dbt, Glue, or Snowflake
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design
• Experience in fintech or regulated industries
• Contributions to open-source ML or MLOps projects
