Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on machine learning experiments involving order book analysis, alert detection, and sequential financial data
• Develop and operate AI agent systems in production using LLM-based software development workflows
• Own and evolve ML training and deployment infrastructure on Snowflake
• Build production-quality data pipelines to process terabytes of daily financial market data
• Design and develop test-driven Python code and develop explainability solutions for AI/ML
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through rigorous code reviews and architecture guidance
• Track and evaluate ML model performance across training, validation, inference, and monitoring

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in Python
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale datasets
• Proven production ML experience, including training, deploying, and monitoring models at scale
• Experience with enterprise cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery)
• Proficiency with production software practices, including version control, automated testing, and CI/CD
• Experience with containerized workflows using Docker

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep learning expertise (PyTorch, multi-GPU distributed ML, model lifecycle management)
• Experience building with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and agent orchestration
• Expertise in time series and sequential modeling (Transformers, TCNs, or classical ARIMA)
• Experience working in both on-premises and cloud environments
