Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate production machine learning systems for outfit discovery
• Partner with Machine Learning Scientists to deploy deep learning models
• Deploy and optimise batch and real-time machine learning models
• Improve system performance, reliability, observability and scalability
• Contribute to technical design decisions and architecture discussions
• Mentor and support other engineers through coaching and collaboration
• Develop shared machine learning capabilities and tools

Requirements

• Experience designing and deploying machine learning systems in production
• Experience applying deep learning to real-world business challenges
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar frameworks
• Experience training models using distributed GPU infrastructure
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals (CI/CD, containerisation, testing)
• Experience with MLOps practices and lifecycle management
• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentoring
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
