Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Designing, building and operating production-grade machine learning systems for outfit discovery
• Partnering with Machine Learning Scientists to productionise deep learning models
• Deploying and optimising batch and real-time machine learning models at scale
• Driving improvements in system performance, reliability, observability and scalability
• Taking ownership of technical design decisions and contributing to architecture and standards
• Mentoring and supporting other engineers to raise the technical bar
• Contributing to shared machine learning capabilities, tools and best practices

Requirements

• Significant professional experience in production machine learning systems
• Expertise in deep learning techniques applied to real-world problems
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar frameworks
• Experience training models on distributed GPU infrastructure and large-scale datasets
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including CI/CD, containerisation, and automated testing
• Experience with MLOps, including model deployment and lifecycle management
• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor engineers
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
