Senior Machine Learning Engineer (AI Foundations)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver ML models and components to solve real-world business problems in collaboration with Product and Data Science teams
• Inform ML infrastructure decisions regarding model choice, data selection, training, hyperparameter tuning, and validation
• Develop and validate ML models while writing and testing application code to automate deployment
• Retrain, maintain, and monitor models in production to ensure high availability and performance
• Construct optimized data pipelines and leverage cloud-based architectures to deliver scalable ML models
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) best practices, including test automation and monitoring
• Ensure all code follows best practices in Responsible and Explainable AI and adheres to governance and risk standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4+ years of experience programming with Python, Scala, or Java
• 3+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing
• 2+ years of experience with industry-recognized ML frameworks (scikit-learn, PyTorch, Dask, Spark, or TensorFlow)
• 1+ year of experience productionizing, monitoring, and maintaining models

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience building, scaling, and optimizing ML systems
• Experience developing and deploying ML solutions in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Master's or doctoral degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience with distributed file systems or multi-node database paradigms
• Experience designing and scaling complex data pipelines for ML models
• Contributions to open source ML software or authored research papers on ML techniques
