Senior Low Latency Java Lead Developer - Vice President

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a best-in-class global client connectivity platform.
• Build low-latency solutions using the Java stack and HFT frameworks.
• Ensure business requirements are understood and translated into technical delivery at all levels.
• Utilize high development standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of prioritized connectivity workstreams by building relationships with internal and external teams.
• Communicate effectively with business, development, QA, infrastructure, and production support teams.
• Assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution across development and technical business users.
• Provide ongoing support after implementation while working on new enhancements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in the Low Latency Java Stack.
• Strong understanding of electronic trading and financial markets.
• Experience with FIX and Binary protocols.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD, and BitBucket.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working in a trading environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in building ultra-low latency platforms.
• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Exposure to OpenHFT and Chronicle libraries.
• Experience in client connectivity application development.
