Senior Logistics Manager

Responsibilities

• Full P&L ownership for the transport function, including budget setting, forecasting, and cost control
• Lead transport network design and optimisation for locations, routes, and linehaul
• Own middle mile haulage strategy, carrier selection, contract negotiation, and performance management
• Act as business owner for Transport Management System (TMS) in collaboration with global technical teams
• Provide senior management across final mile multidrop routes, intersite transfers, and inbound collections
• Plan B2C final mile multidrop delivery routes to ensure efficiency and customer experience
• Manage and schedule inbound and outbound collections to prevent site congestion
• Lead, develop, and manage the transport team by setting clear objectives

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior transport management role with P&L responsibility
• Experience managing and planning multidrop B2C delivery operations
• Strong understanding of UK transport networks, final mile, middle mile, and linehaul operations
• Demonstrated success in reducing transport costs through network optimisation and negotiation
• Experience managing haulage contracts and third-party transport providers
• Hands-on experience managing TMS and YMS platforms
• Strong people leadership experience managing managers and teams
• CPC qualification
