Senior Logistics Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and personnel of the flagship distribution center in Commerce
• Manage, support, and develop Warehouse Managers, warehouse personnel, and drivers
• Balance customer delivery demands with company cost containment policies
• Monitor inventory performance, including turnover, merchandise controls, and product quality
• Establish and negotiate relationships with regional and national vendors, equipment suppliers, and freight carriers
• Coordinate efficient shipping methods using company trucks, common carriers, and parcel services
• Enforce uniform performance standards for quality, safety, and productivity
• Oversee inventory control, rotation, security procedures, and cycle counts
• Guide hiring, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions for warehouse leadership

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics or warehouse management leadership
• Ability to manage large-scale distribution center operations
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Experience in vendor negotiation and relationship management
• Proficiency in inventory control and supply chain optimization
