Senior Logistics Analyst I

Responsibilities

• Manage international transportation activities with a focus on air freight and time-sensitive shipments.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure efficient and compliant movement of goods.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for export control and trade compliance, including ITAR, EAR, and U.S. Customs regulations.
• Review and validate shipment documentation, export records, and dangerous goods documentation.
• Support export licensing requirements, jurisdiction/classification activities, and regulatory recordkeeping.
• Monitor shipment performance and proactively resolve transportation disruptions or compliance exceptions.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, compliance controls, and operational efficiency.
• Partner cross-functionally with Logistics, Trade Compliance, Manufacturing, and Legal teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in international logistics, transportation, customs, or export compliance.
• Strong working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, U.S. Customs regulations, and global import/export processes.
• Experience supporting international air freight operations and managing external logistics providers.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, transportation management systems (TMS), or global trade management tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
• Professional certifications such as Licensed Customs Broker (LCB), Certified Export Specialist (CES), or DG/IATA Certification.
• Experience in highly regulated industries such as defense, aerospace, public safety, or medical devices.
