About the role
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case management, discovery, and trial preparation
- Perform litigation case management tasks such as file management, document organization, and trial activities
- Assist with drafting and preparing court filings in Federal and State courts
- Manage discovery processes, including document collection, review, and production
- Conduct cite checking, proofreading, and Bluebook formatting for briefs and discovery documents
- Assist with calendaring case deadlines and researching Local Rules and Judge’s Standing Orders
- Utilize AI tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
- Coordinate with external vendors and manage trial/arbitration logistics, including travel
Requirements
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and substantive experience
- Proficiency in Lexis Nexis, Westlaw, and iManage
- Experience with eDiscovery databases such as Relativity, Opus 2, or CaseMap
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Harvey, CoCounsel, Gemini)
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to travel and work overtime as necessary
