About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial, IP, trademark, bankruptcy, and employment-related disputes and litigation matters
- Manage responses to subpoenas, garnishment orders, and requests from government or law enforcement agencies
- Lead and manage internal investigations regarding legal risks
- Develop scalable processes and procedures for handling litigation matters
- Advise business stakeholders on litigation risks and issues
- Review and advise on litigation-related contractual provisions in commercial agreements
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school
- Membership in at least one state bar with ability to practice in the local jurisdiction
- Minimum of 4 years of legal experience with substantive litigation experience
- Experience managing complex litigation and/or class action claims
- Experience conducting internal investigations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Law firm experience
- In-house legal experience
