Senior Litigation Counsel

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for significant litigation and regulatory enforcement matters from pre-litigation through resolution
• Advise senior leadership on legal risk, enforcement trends, and business impact in fintech, payments, and data use
• Manage and partner closely with outside counsel to drive high-quality, efficient outcomes
• Personally engage on critical aspects of matters, including legal strategy, discovery, and key filings
• Handle complex disputes across class actions, commercial litigation, privacy, and consumer protection
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Policy, Product, Regulatory, Corporate, Engineering, Compliance, and Risk teams

Requirements

• J.D. and active bar membership
• 10+ years of litigation experience at a leading law firm, government agency, or in-house
• Experience leading complex litigation and/or regulatory enforcement matters
• Expertise in class actions, commercial disputes, privacy, or financial regulatory enforcement
• Experience in litigation for a public company, including financial reporting, audit, and governance obligations
• Strong judgment and ability to translate legal risk into practical business guidance
• Excellent communication and advocacy skills
• AI-first perspective with interest in leveraging AI-driven tools for litigation management and discovery
