Senior Linux-Based Systems Integration & Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document system integration and test activities for radar programs in a laboratory environment.
• Perform hands-on testing and integration of hardware and software, specifically within Linux-based operating environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues involving software, hardware, and operating systems.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, procedures, and reports in accordance with program requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify technical challenges and support test readiness reviews.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and program-specific processes.

Requirements

• STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, Shell scripting, Linux, and/or Unix.
• Hands-on experience with hardware and/or software testing in an engineering lab environment.
• Strong understanding of networking principles.
• Experience with systems integration, test procedures, test plans, test scripts, and data analysis.
• Active and existing U.S. government Secret security clearance required on day one.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and data acquisition systems.
• Experience working with X-Band radar systems.
• Knowledge of RF systems, radar signal processing, and real-time systems.
• Experience with electronic hardware configuration, software installation on hardware devices, and network configurations.
• Practical knowledge of system security concepts and tools in Linux environments.
