About the role
Responsibilities
- Architect and own the full consumer lifecycle roadmap, including pre-purchase nurture, conversion, post-purchase engagement, and healthcare-specific journeys.
- Build and operate automated flows directly in Braze across email, SMS, push, and in-app channels using complex segmentation and Liquid logic.
- Lead lifecycle go-to-market strategies for new program launches, managing communications from pre-launch through long-term retention.
- Partner with engineering on event schema design, data triggers, and Braze integrations to ensure seamless technical execution.
- Own the lifecycle experimentation program by designing and analyzing A/B tests across copy, timing, and flow logic.
- Monitor funnel performance and translate data insights into actionable product and marketing roadmap recommendations.
- Ensure all communications adhere to HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of lifecycle marketing experience, specifically within DTC health, wellness, or highly regulated consumer categories.
- Braze power user expertise, including hands-on experience building complex canvases, multi-step event-triggered flows, and Liquid logic personalization.
- Strong technical and data fluency with the ability to read event schemas, write trigger specs, and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Proven experience leading lifecycle strategy for new product or program launches.
- Deep understanding of the DTC lifecycle funnel, including acquisition, onboarding, win-back, and loyalty.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to distinguish signal from noise and report on conversion, retention, and LTV.
- HIPAA awareness and the ability to communicate sensitively within a regulated healthcare context.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Mixpanel for funnel analysis.
- Working knowledge of Customer.io.
