We are utilizing shipyard manufacturing supply chains and techniques from offshore oil and wind to reduce the cost of nuclear plants by over 60%.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of licensing strategy for nuclear power plant deployment
  • Lead licensing work including topical report development and RAI responses
  • Prepare, submit, and track regulatory filings such as Construction Permit Applications (CPA)
  • Develop topical reports, white papers, and Safety Analysis Reports (SARs)
  • Interface with the NRC and international regulatory bodies to manage requests for additional information (RAIs)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure alignment between regulatory requirements and designs
  • Participate in regulatory meetings, audits, and inspections

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in science (physics, chemistry, etc.) or engineering (nuclear, mechanical, electrical)
  • 8+ years of experience in regulatory affairs or licensing within the nuclear industry or a governmental agency
  • Deep knowledge of NRC regulations and licensing processes
  • Experience with 10 CFR Part 50 and construction permit application processes
  • Strong project management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with international regulatory bodies (e.g., ONR, CNSC)
  • Experience with small modular reactors (SMRs) or advanced reactor technologies
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license
  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment
