Senior Licensed Practical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide technical nursing care to child through adult populations within the Acute Psychological Services Department
• Contribute to nursing assessments, care planning, and treatment plans
• Perform clinical treatments and procedures within established guidelines and scope of practice
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and cleanliness within the department
• Initiate emergency procedures as required and maintain equipment cleanliness
• Manage inventory of supplies and place orders as necessary

Requirements

• Three (3) years of relevant experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Valid and current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• Demonstrated competency in venipuncture techniques
• Proficiency in PC usage, including word processing
• Strong clinical nursing specialty and communication skills
