Senior-Level Landscape Architect

Responsibilities

• Provide studio leadership and mentoring in technical documentation and construction
• Manage project management, client management, and coordination of own projects
• Share leadership role in managing the studio and its growth
• Represent the firm at client and agency meetings and industry conferences
• Contribute to marketing, business development, and recruitment efforts
• Provide peer reviews and leadership for Middle East project design teams
• Participate in project/design kick-offs and critiques throughout project duration
• Travel domestically and internationally

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience at a landscape architecture firm
• Accredited degree in Landscape Architecture
• Licensed in the State of New York or ability to obtain license within 1 year
• Strong portfolio demonstrating project management of full services
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling (Lumion, Rhino, Sketchup)
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing NYC Parks Capital Division projects
• Experience working with NYC public agencies like EDC and DDC
• Experience with international projects in the Middle East and Asia
• Proficiency in Revit, BIM, and hand sketching
• Prior prime leadership experience with large teams
