About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and develop greybox levels and test maps to support gameplay exploration, pacing, and player experience
- Integrate environment art assets into gameplay spaces, ensuring strong composition and readability
- Collaborate with combat, systems, and engineering teams to implement gameplay scenarios
- Partner cross-functionally to support shared environment assets and consistent world-building
- Contribute to space planning and the development of modular design approaches
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in level design and/or environment art roles
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5
- Strong understanding of gameplay space design, player flow, and environmental storytelling
- Experience with greybox design and art implementation workflows
- Experience working on action, narrative, or exploration-driven titles
- Familiarity with modular asset workflows and real-time optimization techniques
Preferred Qualifications
- Hybrid experience in level design and environment art
- Experience contributing to a live service game
- Experience supporting or mentoring other team members
- Experience working on early-phase projects or in fast-paced environments
- Interest in film, cross-medium storytelling, or experimental gameplay
