About the role
Responsibilities
- Support large client engagements and complex, high-profile legal matters using project management methodologies and tools
- Provide project management oversight, principles, and methodologies for both internal and client-facing projects
- Manage assigned projects to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
- Collaborate with legal and business professionals to plan custom technical or process solutions
- Provide training and consultation on portfolio and matter budgeting, financial data analysis, and technology
- Monitor project scope management and apprise stakeholders of any changes or impacts
- Organize project teams and work closely with relationship attorneys to achieve business goals
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a law firm or a similar professional services environment
- At least 3 years of financial professional experience
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office
- Experience with SQL and Microsoft SharePoint
- Strong analytical, financial, and organizational skills
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills for leading meetings and presentations
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of formal project management experience
- PMP certification
- JD or MBA degree
- Experience with Visio and MS Project
