About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support large client engagements and complex, high-profile legal matters using project management methodologies and tools
  • Provide project management oversight, principles, and methodologies for both internal and client-facing projects
  • Manage assigned projects to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Collaborate with legal and business professionals to plan custom technical or process solutions
  • Provide training and consultation on portfolio and matter budgeting, financial data analysis, and technology
  • Monitor project scope management and apprise stakeholders of any changes or impacts
  • Organize project teams and work closely with relationship attorneys to achieve business goals

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a law firm or a similar professional services environment
  • At least 3 years of financial professional experience
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience with SQL and Microsoft SharePoint
  • Strong analytical, financial, and organizational skills
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills for leading meetings and presentations

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of formal project management experience
  • PMP certification
  • JD or MBA degree
  • Experience with Visio and MS Project
