Senior Legal Counsel

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted legal and business advisor on GDPR, data protection, AI, and technology-related matters
• Support the implementation and monitoring of the Privacy Governance Framework
• Provide legal advice on data subject rights, personal data breaches, and international data transfers
• Conduct data protection risk assessments for shared services, systems, and digital resources
• Advise on the AI Act, contract law, and other relevant digital regulations
• Support the implementation of policy frameworks and internal training programs

Requirements

• Master's degree in law
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a reputable law firm or relevant in-house position
• Strong expertise in GDPR, data protection, AI regulation, and digital governance
• Ability to apply regulatory requirements in a practical, business-oriented manner
• Strong collaborative and pedagogical skills
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience from group service companies, shared service centres, or international corporate groups
